I want to replace the white and maybe the yellow lens with black, like blacked out tail lights.

It looks good if done right, best of all you only need a can of vht sunshade and can decide how dark you wanna go, the more coats you add determine how dark the finished product will be. I'd suggest getting the lens's from the local pick-a-part and save your origionals if they're in good shape that way if you dont like it, get tired of it, or have issues with inspection or local law enforcement you can simply swap em out.

There is a guy on here that did white for the small side lights & did the fronts in a clear lens. It looks great! Just my

That would look cool. But I'm not a fan of sunshade on lights just for performance's sake...

They sell a smoked lens kit on ebay for our camaros, comes with front & side lenses, under a $100 i think.

I don't get the black out look either. Why would you want to purposely make your car more difficult to see at night?
