aftermarket bumper/marker lights...

As with any 20 year old car, somethings just aren't aging very well. I'm looking to replace my original bumper lights as well as my side marker lights with the clear ones commonly found on ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/85-92-CHEVY-...48062380709432). I've done some looking around and there are a couple of examples, but I would like some opinions and more so, some pictures of them installed, especially head on shots with them turned off and on.

Re: aftermarket bumper/marker lights...

Looks like a good deal to me, I ordered the clear side marker lights for mine last nite. I have seen these installed and they look great.

Re: aftermarket bumper/marker lights...

main thing to remember when switching to the clear side markers is you have to change the bulb to an amber bulb instead of the stock clear one.

Re: aftermarket bumper/marker lights...

From the couple of pictures I've seen with the clear bumper lights, you need to change those to amber as well, correct?

the front turn signals should be amber bulbs from the factory.

Re: aftermarket bumper/marker lights...

Thanks for the info travis401. I've been fortunate when it comes to bulbs on mine. The only bulb I've ever had to replace was one of the side marker lights. She was born on 17 AUG '90 and I bought her on 12 DEC '90. First car I ever owned and still have her. As far as I'm concerned, I'll have here for the rest of my life.
