Ok just wondering if the iroc came in black with red iroc decals? If so was it only a particular year?????? if anyone has pictures i would like to see, im thinking of painting my car, right now its red.......

Kind of a crappy combo IMO, but then again someone posted up a pic of one that wasn't a beater and had a red gut and it didn't look half bad.

thanks blackdog, thats a nice looken ride man... i like 88-90 myself the brake light is a turn off to me so is the placemen of the decals on the earlier years, but it is prob my favorite color combo.... was it available in all the years????

The 1985 IROC didnt have a third brakelight--1986 was the first year. In the attached thread it looks like they have a 1986 hatch on that car. 1987-1990 had the third brake light in the rear spoiler.

Or in the rear window if the proper spoiler wasnt attached.

91/92 were the only years to put the brake light inside the rear window. The last year for the IROC was 1990, so the only place for the brake light would be on the outside of the rear window for 1986 and in the spoiler for the rest.

'89 I think came black with red stripes but I don't think I have seen one yet in that color combo that doesn't have the red interior. One of my favorite combonations.

used to have a neighbor who had an 87 iroc with it. I got to ride in it once. very rare color combo but very cool!
