Keep My 91 RS? Or Get A 90 Firebird???

Well, if you didn't already read my topic I posted yesterday... My 91 RS was hit by a stupid senior on the way to school earlier yesterday morning. I know I'm going to have to get a new door and all on it and sand it down and hopefully I can get enough money to fix up the rest of the car too **hood... new front spoiler cuz mine's cracked... new interior stuff..** But a few minutes ago my Uncle called. He just recently bought a 1990 Firebird, red with T-Tops, grey interior. Everything is still original. He was going to take out the V6 and drop in a 400 big block. But now his wife wants it out of the yard because he has 2 trucks and a motorcycle. He said he would sell it to me really cheap. All it needs it to be cleaned up and it needs a new front end cap and hood. It also doesn't have a engine... I could switch my engine over to it and I just got my tranny rebuilt I could switch that too. I can search the junkyards around here and pick up a front end cap and hood or order a ram air one just depends on how much money I have. I'm just wondering. Which would be the better deal. I am stuck... I like my car because it was my first, BUT, I also want a 3rd gen firebird because I love the way they look and other little things. Is there anything that easier to do with a firebird than it is to do to a Camaro? I love T-Handle shifters and it has one... I also love the look of a 4th gen. console and it's easier to put one in a firebird than a camaro. Any suggestions or comments will be appreciated, thanks!

**I still have the original Camaro seats so I could put the seats in mine and take my 4th Gen ones out and put them in the Firebird if I get it... also the kicks and the cd player will swap out... but does anyone know about my box that's in the well of the trunk? Will it interfere with the T-Tops??**

Keep the Camaro man, Camaros are better than birds, consider the bird the heavier fbody designed around interior comfort than speed. Camaro has that jet coc kpit feeling to it. Just get some lighted up fiberglass doors. Loose the heavy ones.

well... i MIGHT get both... we might use the money we get from the insurance to buy the bird from my uncle and use to rest to fix up my car.. i went and looked at it today and the outside is very nice... the paint is faded on top but when i wiped it off a lil bit it came clean and all it needs is to be washed and waxed... it has a crack in the windshield and a lil one on the dash... he said he'd sell it to me for about $300 if i wanted it... but i think i'll keep my metal doors... i mean if i had some fiberglass doors i'd prolly be hurt right now from what happened the other day lol
