New 1LE emblems for my rockers and rear PICS

check them out.. going in my rockers and rear bumper. My car is satin black

the "1" portion is stainless with red, the "LE" are red composite

my car is a B4C/1LE car.. but i didnt want to smash all that into the rockers.. more people know what 1LE is.. and im going to use a different B4C emblem anyway..

what do you think?

the font is from the new 2013 1LE camaro do out next year..

Looks ok. I would have used a font that matched the angle of the recessed area a little better.

Nice. Where did you get them made? I have a set of 383 emblems made out of polished stainles from Emblem Pros that I'm quite happy with.

Re: New 1LE emblems for my rockers and rear PICS

the rear bumper one looks really good. look forward to seeing everything mounted in place.

seeing as I'm tossing on a set of 91/2 camaro side skirts onto my TA, I need to find something to fill in the badge spot. may have to get something "LSx" inspired....

Not really feeling them... or at least not the fitament of the rocker panel emblems.

It will be one of those things when its all put together it will come together, and probably look great.

I really like that rear bumper, but the jury is still out on the rockers... How long until the car is reassembled?

I'm going to center the lettering on the rockers, I'm not leaving it as is so it looks better than the pics on how I placed them. Still a week or 2 out from completion.

Should look really good then. You can't beat red on black for color combos...

I think they look good. Anytime YOU do something customs others will says "they would've done this" or Would've done that". Good for you to take the initiative and the thought. I like the idea and if you are happy that is all that matters. Your car and your custom touch!

That would make a great license plate... better than decals I think. The rear decal looks good.

Re: New 1LE emblems for my rockers and rear PICS

K boys and girls, turns out the company made them too small for the rockers. Sent the 2 rockers back, new ones coming that should fit better into them.

On a side note, anyone notice that the 91-92 gfx rocker emblems are larger than the 82-89 emblems? Seems that was where the wrong size discrepancy came from. They made the rockers the same size as the rear, and said the rear and rockers should be the same size, but I always thought the rear was smaller than the rockers

I think the rocker ones would look a lot better if you filled in the emblem area smooth and put them on that way.

I'm gonna take back my MEH! comment, and say that I think that they look great with the complete emblem area filled in!

Actually, the 82-90 rocker emblems by themselves are the same size as the 91-92 emblems. They fit into a trim piece first before they are attached to the rocker, the trim piece covers a set of screw holes used to secure the rocker to the body, no such trim piece for 91-92 which makes for a smaller depression than the 82-90. Glad you got it all sorted out with Roger and having him make a slightly larger set, he's really good to work with.

well here is a picture of the rear emblem next to a rocker emblem, you can see the size difference. I even measured my rocker emblems and they were 31.8mm tall the rear are 23.45mm tall
