Post pics of your factory look 3rd gen
With the number of 3rd gens dwindling (in my area anyway) most of the cars I do see have custom paint jobs, aftermarket wheels, body panels and such...does anyone else still like the factory look of our cars?

I have seen 18 and 20 in my style love them but cant find them maybe Trans Am Depot here in Tallahassee will do a set for me. I wonder who makes their rims for them Considering they are making the 5th gen Trans Am I am going to stop in there tomarrow and talk to them. I did stop in ther and talked to them about doing my seats but they said they dont work on third gens.

Heres one of mine, you dont see these very often. 1982 bird, maroon metallic, all original, 22k.

Since the picture, I have changed the wheels to turbo fins, but still have the orig wheelcovers.

I love our cars stock. I wish my 86' was ready for a photo shoot, its 100% stock and will stay that way, but is all stripped down for minor rust repair and a complete repaint.
I really like your T/A, Facime. My 86' is identical, except I have the grey interior and diamond spoke wheels.

Nah. I looked long and hard for the right yellow one. I've hit a point where I just keep them. It's like being the old woman who dies and leaves 25 cats behind.

Here is my stock 92. Well, the wheels were polished (hate it) and it has a flowmaster. But other than that it is a stock 92 Heritage edition 5 speed 305.

I was lucky when I stumbled across it. Never been in the rain, one **** retentive owner, always garaged. The Conteur seats aren't faded at all and other than hand waxing, and service it's just like I found it.

Your yellow one is very nice. The LS Conteur interior and hard top are just icing on the cake. I've been looking off and on for a yellow one for years before I bought my '85 last fall. My ideal one would have been an '85 L69/T5 with a Conteur interior or an '87 LB9/T5.

Re: Post pics of your factory look 3rd gen
puma, your car is outstanding! I love the color, and the look of an unmodified RS. Do you have any more pics to show off the color? Thanks!
Re: Post pics of your factory look 3rd gen
I like the DX3. My 1LE '90 is a DX3, as most of them were. There was an RPO at the time that allowed non-recommended color combinations as well, but I can't recall it at the moment. That black car is absolutely killer!
All of these are cool. I like Puma's Maui blue car too! Hell, I like them all!!!!!

This is what makes this site great. You see all sorts of killer hot rods and all kinds of killer stockers and pretty much everything in between.

I've tried to keep my car looking mostly stock. I loved the cowl when I had it, but I prefer the factory look. Always better to be faster than you look anyway.

Durham/Raleigh/Hillsborough.
I've had a 1986 Iroc for 17 years. Little too modified to go back to stock, but I think I will redo it the way I WANT it. factory yellow, stock looking form the outside except yellow/polished wheels, 350TPI and a 5-speed. Tan interior...
I have a full build thread on the blue one.
