these are on my brothers car, he bought them years ago. they say Genuine Chevy(can't tell in the pictures) and used to be Chrome but from sitting in the shop for almost 10 years they yellowed. lol i always taught they where yellow until he pointed it out. this is the car that i always looked at growing up.

Looks like an AutoZone special right there. They stick out like a sore thumb... I would work on putting your key in the cylinder correctly and you will not need those.

The point isn't because i miss the key hole. I just like the way they look. Thanks for telling me that there at Autozone but that was a little rude

Don't call people rude that answered your question, just because everybody else thinks that they are ugly.

The original purpose was for people having a hard time getting their keys in the cylinder to protect the paint around the cylinder... You didn't say anything about how awesome they look.... "Key lock Scratch guard. where can i get these?"

Re: Key lock Scratch guard. where can i get these?
Obviously i can put the key in the hole. You don't think this is rude?
"Looks like an AutoZone special right there. They stick out like a sore thumb... I would work on putting your key in the cylinder correctly and you will not need those."
Telling me they stick out like a sore thumb and that i need to work on putting my key in the cylinder hole correctly and i won't need them.
That's a perfectly respectable answer right? Because its so hard for me to put the key in the cylinder hole right and the fact that he said they stick out like a sore thumb, after i asked where to get them and now everybody's calling them ugly, that's not rude?
Since there chrome when clean, i want then because i think they will tie in nice with shiny aluminum AR rims and Glass fog lights and clear glass parking lights and clear glass turning signals and with red tail lights with no yellow just one clear section and black inserts in the middle. it's just my vision for my car.
Sorry if i pissed anybody off but try to see things from my point of view.
Were all good.

The reason BADNBLK said what he did is because scratch guards are not typically used for cosmetic reasons, so we assumed you needed them because you scratch your paint trying to put your key in the slot. It's like asking where you can get training wheels for your bike because you think they look good (without telling us you think that).

Welcome to the world you cant expect every person to be super nice, badNblk was being sarcastic or atleast it seemed like it to me. even if he was actually trying to be an ******* which i dont think he was, you should still be prepared for that kind of thing to happen.
Im not exactly a big fan of the look it gives the car but to each his own.
I would think that if you were purchasing this thing it is to protect your paint from scratches, like the name Says KEY LOCK SCRATCH GUARD.

Re: Key lock Scratch guard. where can i get these?
I've been on this forum to learn, share, and talk about the cars that we all care about. We are dealing with kids that have just gotten their license and chose a 3rd gen as their first ride. all the way to old-timers that have had a number of them and/or they know or think they know everything about them. The original poster asked for help and because some on here thought they were ugly and not to their taste the OP was ridiculed. I firmly believe in helping out where I can and not jumping in just to make a sarcastic remark because someones tastes are not the same as mine. I go under the old axiom of "If you don't like it, don't look at it". We all have our own likes and dislikes.
Someone that asks an honest question about something that appeals to them that is related to 3rd gens doesn't deserve to be ridiculed.

I dont think it really matters how "old" or "young" you are it has to do with your intelligence/maturity level/common sense level. Im only 16 years old but if you met me you would be surprised to see how ahead of the so called "game" i am.
