talked into plasti-dip

[IMG]https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/
I have been contemplating applying plasti-dip to my wheels over the past few weeks. Then a friend called a few days ago and mentioned he was going to pick some up and try it on his wheels and basically convinced me that I should spray my 17"sSo we took a trip to lowe's and bought three cans each for about six bucks a can, After cleaning the wheels and a little masking I am satisfied with the end result.
I really want to POWDER COAT the wheels black, however I want to wait until the car needs new tires to avoid paying a bunch of mounting and balancing cost. The plasi-dip is very easy to remove, which is nice because I don't
have to break my back taking it off before they get powder coated.
plus I can decide if it is something I can live with before crossing the point of no return[IMG]https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/

It looks good. Tint your windows and it will help pull it together. There is some sort of pipe hanging out under your door...

I like the look. Tint will help for sure, but I think you need more black on the car for it to really work. I'm not a big fan of black wheels on cars that are not black or don't have any black on the body.
If it were my car, i'd tint it out and go with a hockey stripe on the car in black.

Its durable stuff, but you need to put it on thick. Putting it on thick also allows for it to be removed in one piece, quickly.
I did mine this summer, but did not end up liking the look...

I did my wheels with it. The red in them was faded and looked pink and I wasn't having that so I dipped them. Looks a 100x better.
