Do factory TransAm Foglights have holes in the bottom of the housing?

Picked up a set of aftermarket housings/reflectors/lenses because the ones on my car have been shot/missing since I bought it and have never replaced them.

My only thought is that if they aren't sealed moisture will get inside and cause the inside of the lens to fog, get dirty, discolor...

But I do not have the lights on my GTA to compare to.

See attached photo for the 3 holes in the bottom of the reflector. Tried searching for a pic of a factory reflector, but couldn't find any.

there are no holes on the bottom of factory fog light housing , I found a set of NOS a year or two ago off eBay , complete with boxes , they look real nice , maybe you should look on there or here for an original set ?

Still would like a pic of the reflectors if anyone is willing to snap one for me.

I'll probably return these. Sure, they look great now, but with those holes on the bottom in 6months to a year dirt/grim/crap will build up in there and lay directly on the inside of the lens, as well as actually on the element itself.

I would prefer a sealed setup, and I don't feel like attempting to seal these myself.

Well, if factory have holes, then I'm good with these.

I still think the design would be better as a sealed unit to keep moisure and dirt out of the reflector housing, but I do agree that they might need to be vented for heat.

It's a good idea to have vent holes anyways. I have had some aftermarket light in the past with no vent holes and they would fog up. I drilled a small vent hole and no more fog-I did this on a few sets of lights.

Re: Do factory TransAm Foglights have holes in the bottom of the housing?

I had something come off the road and break a fog light lens on my 86 T/A. Got my replacement from Hawks and it was perfect! I didn't pay that much because this was 8 years ago but from the quality of what I got it's worth the price if you're wanting to keep the original look.
