Just installed my new bowtie grill...check it out
My bowtie grill finally came from Classic Industries today and I just HAD to put it in ASAP! I just wrapped up around midnight CST, but it was totally worth it. I think it really compliments the anniversary edition black stripes and headlight pockets. I had originally planned on getting a red one with a black bowtie, but it cost about $120! This one was only $50, so that was a no-brainer. Now all I need are some foglights...anybody looking to sell some that aren't broken or rusty?
Go here for the pics:

I've still got a couple more screws to install in the center section, but I was running out of time. FYI, for those RS owners who want to do this, the RS grill has six torx-head screws holding it in...2 on top, 2 on the front, and 2 on the bottom toward the sides. You'll need to unscrew the plastic guard underneath the spoiler, but only in the front. That will allow you to get to the screws on the top and bottom. The old grill comes right out...make sure you clean up the area behind 'cause mine was filthy.
Next, move the two metal clips on top out to the next hole locations over for the new grill to line up with. Slide the bowtie grill in and put the top screws in. You should have four more torx-head screws left over...I used a Dremel tool to get the washers off. Put your knee against the center of the grill and run a screw into each of the four center mounting holes. You'll actually be creating the threaded holes, so apply a lot of pressure. You will probably want to apply some black touch-up paint to the screw heads afterwards so they don't stick out (haven't done that yet).
Anyway, hope all that helps somebody out. If you're interested, the Classic Industries P/N is G1330 and the GM P/N is 10139545. Mine cost $56 shipped from Classic, but you might could get one cheaper on Ebay.
Edit: I had to make a web page for the pics 'cause Brinkster's server was giving me problems.

I got a message that I had to view the pics through your web page. After I went to cyber church, I just re-entered the urls into the title bar and they showed up.

Update: I finally broke down and just made a web page for the pics since Brinkster stopped letting me link to images on their server. The pics should show up fine that way.

Thanx, Brent...as for the grill, I don't think you'd be too interested. It looks like the heat warped it or something, but maybe all of them are a little wavy. You can see it in the first pic on the grill install web page...it's actually just sitting in the recess at that point 'cause I had already removed all of the screws. That's why it's kindof leaning out at the top.
