See into the future?
I have. My buddy bought a new video game for XBOX 360 (Forza Motorsports 3) but he doesn't have an XBOX so he left it at my house. I started playing and found it has all 5 generations of Camaro and even 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gen Pontiacs. I'm slowly trying to save up and work on my '88 in the real world, but i found i was able to customize the '90 they have in the game. So i gave it the paint scheme (Black with a pair of silver stripes) and other details i liked in it. Now i know what my car will look like when it's all said and done. The game costed him $10 (Though it may vary store to store), and it's actually pretty fun to play. Though sadly, they must feel our cars are crap because it's hard to handle, but i was able to upgrade and tune it, then learn to work with it so i can control it. It's even got different rims you can change out. If you or somebody you know (siblings, your kids, nephews, the neighbors kids, etc.) has an xbox, and you wanna know what your ideas will look like, id recommend getting this game. Just thought i'd throw that out there for anyone who may want to get an idea(s)

Re: See into the future?
I thought it was one of the better handling stock cars in the game, comparing apples to apples (leaving out Lotuses and stuff like that). Definitely one of the easiest cars to drift with.

But yeah, a local car club here in Evansville uses it to model the graphics schemes for their drift cars and I used it to check out what different wheel setups would look like on mine. Definitely easier to model paint schemes than Photoshop or Paint.NET, good suggestion.

Re: See into the future?
Somewhere along the way i won an Alfa-Romeo and used that in the world class races until i had built up the IROC well enough to use it. When we first bought it, we bought the 2010 Camaro block to put in it, but it was way too much so we took it back to stock and worked with the stock 5.7 a wee bit and got it stronger than the 2010 block. we still have a lot more we can do with the stock block, but right now i have it maxed out a a B500 to keep it in the class im racing in now

Forza is one of the few platform-exclusive games that I wish was a multi-platform title.
Gran Turismo is good, but it doesn't have the customization that Forza does.
