My stock rubber wing on the Formula cracked so I ordered Hawks reproduction spoiler and it appears to use a different system to fasten it to the car, does anyone have experience with this product or know where I could find installation info?

The Bird looks okay with the wings clipped haha

 

I didn't use the 2 clips that came with the wing, I ran screws in the pockets under the spears where the clips would be on the factory wing. the screws slide into the mounts on the glass and this will allow the wing to mount very similar to factory and retain the same look.

you will have to make some rubber pads to raise the wing a tad so the third brake light will fit.

yeah I have the hawks spoiler and clips and I'm not too keen on them. They are rusting now and can bend too much. In hindsight I would do what quick did. It hasn't come off at 110mph at least not yet.

 

I had no issues with using the clips provided with the wing but I did however shave off the original mounting tabs as they were a little rusty and didn't allow the wing "arms" to sit flush with the frame.
