OK, OK, but check mine out!! The '84 Camaro in these pics is my 1st and still current Z28 (it's the same one I now feature in my sig).

This happened the 1st winter I drove my Z (January 5th, 1999).... Took 1 month to make her drivable and then 5 more months to make her pretty again (I added the hood this year)

I'm devoted, what can I say

Don't grimace (I'm not talking the McD's purple guy either lol ) too much guys,, the red form'y above is mine which has been well loved before & after that pic. I even won against the insurance company when that happened,,, I'd be dammed to hell if someone was going to total my baby when it wasn't my fault. I'm hoping by spring she'll be complete & on the road,, but that's a $$ issue.

I visit several salvage yards probably once a week. At the rate third gens are dying it seems won't be long before they are an endangered species. At least some of their parts live on in other cars, Thanks to all the cars that so unselfishly donated their parts to my car.

ya, me and my friend were needed alot of parts for his old T\A. and we would go there on almost a daily bases because their was a good chance of a new f-body being there that wasn't there the previous day.

however, my observation is that 60% of the f-bods at the junkyards around here either had NO damage or minor damage, easily repairable. so i dont know why someone would give up a f-body with no body damage,

I hope this works.
This was from hitting a Duallie at 55mph. I walked away thanks to my seatbelt and airbag.

it is truely sad how some people easily give up on their cars. no less than a month and a half after I got my car in '99, I went to the local junk yark, and found my car's tiwn. 1988 camaro, red red int., 65,000 miles, no rust, no dents, no dings, 95% perfect paint, good interior. I asked the owner why it was there. there was only one difference from it to mine, my motor ran, it's motor was blown, beyond that, it was a perfect car. pw, pl, upscale int. t-tops, 2.8, auto, ac, defrost, everything but the motor. betcha a woman blew the motor and didn't know what to do, so she had it junked.

never had to get the call from the cops on something that bad, but i did get my car broken into. passenger window smashed, console ripped apart, and rear seat torn. and then you learn the hard way that you must cover your stereo stuff very well.

Here's my 1992 RS after I rear ended some lady at like 10 MPH. The nose was cracked in 2 other spots on the other side, and after awhile, started spider webbing REALLY BAD. Still sold for $4000 so its all good.
