Rat rod
been curious always liked the whole rat rod theme, does any1 have one or any pics of a rat rod style third gen. and im not talking about one that's been sitting in a field uncovered for a million years. maybe something like this, not just like it but something where you can see what they are goin for but also modern and safe.

Re: Rat rod
Please don't. No offense but I want to gag whenever I see somebody label anything that's not a traditional pre 60's hot rod as a rat rod.
I've been getting pretty big into traditional style machines. I'm trying to find a model a Tudor to cut up but people want big money for rust right now. Almost debating building a tribute t from speedway motors.

Re: Rat rod
I understand and respect your opinion. but I believe that if its done right and tastefully it can be quite a car. not saying im about to tear up my Camaro cause its pretty clean at the moment but im curious to see what it would look like. it would definitely be one of a kind.

Re: Rat rod
Most people think of third gens as rat rods cause rednecks and hillbilly's are the only ones that drive them right?

Re: Rat rod
It can be cool when done right, but the rusted junker look belongs on older cars, mostly pre-1960's cars. There' a reason people don't do it on cars older than maybe 1965. The style just doesn't fit.

Re: Rat rod
even tho so many are against it id still like to see it. im not a fan of the 4in cowl hoods or 4th gen interiors on third gens but people do it anyway. we are all free to do as we wish with our cars. and im not on a mission to offend any1 on the site and im not gonna be offended by those who put down the idea either, we post on the forums to get feedback from fellow members its not always gonna be positive and im fine with that.
