Alero fog lights as Firebird turn signals
I never really liked my Firebird's front turn signals. (not my car)

Looked around online when I got it in '99, didn't find any replacements, and never really thought about it again.
Ten I bought an Olds Alero in '02 for a daily driver. It was a base model, so I bought fog lights from eBay to add on, around '03 or so.

huh... I've seen that shape before.....
So today I finally put them on.

They're almost flush to the bumper cover, odd angle makes it look like there's a gap. Sorry about crappy pic, I was losing the daylight, and can't back it out of garage due to other upgrades.
Lights were $30+ shipping (ten years ago), bulbs were $6 each, plus I bought 2 $5 connectors from Rock Auto to connect the bulbs to the car wiring. Wires were soldered and wrapped with electrical tape. Total cost was probably $60.
The light is bright yellow, and the lights work like factory. They have adjusting screws, so you can adjust the up/down and left/right as needed.
Just thought others might be interested.

That is a pretty cool mod man. You should post some more pics of that.

I did something similar a number of years back. '99 GMC Denali foglights fit the curvature of the aero nose almost perfectly.
