Can says wait 60 days before waxing but???

I put on a layer of clear enamal to spruce up the Bird.

even 60 days sitting in hot summer sun?

What had killed my paint in the first place, its in the hot sun almost all the time, and just couldn't get a decent shine from it anymore.

nice n shiny now

What about a wash n wax in one or a quick detial wax?

I can see why not to use a hard paste wax n power wax it.

When a paint/clear has solvents in it, after spraying the solvents need time to dissipate.
If you use wax on it before the solvents have time to evaporate you will be trapping them in.

The paint/clear will not cure totally leaving it soft.

I let my new paint cure for 2 months only using water and a soft micro towel to wash.

Besides a nice heavy coat of quality clear should have UV and other properties to protect itself and the paint when in the sun.

Side note = My first application of wax never came to be, because I decided to only use syntactic products. =

Even after 6 years it has never seen natural wax of any kind.

I've heard of a couple paint jobs ruined because the owner ignored the body shop warnings and just HAD to wax it. Why risk it?

Don't know what that is, but there should be no issue with cleaning it. You just don't want any kind of sealer on it until everything has stabilized.

how? one of the most poplular items I have ever seen, use to cost allot, now its about $20 anywhere [why I got one]. Some special mop like duster that works better and better the dirtier it gets.

I know, sound like snake oil but you see them used at shows.

Duster, washing, polish etc is fine. Just don't use a sealer because it will seal in the solvents. I would wash it with dish soap and try to get the wax off, I'm not sure if that will work or not but it's worth a shot.

washing a CC duster will ruin it, just a cotton mop at that point.
