Forgotten Red Z28 Camaro

Sorry if this is in the wrong section if you would like to move it then do as you wish.

Alright heres the story on how i stumbled upon a z28 thats been sitting for 6 years and is in very very good condition. I was at a friends house and we walked to this old garage and inside was this beautiful red z28. We opened the hood and she had a nice looking 350 with a quadrajet carb. Nothing looked like it was messed up. All it needed was a battery and starting fluid. *i have no idea on what year it is nor if the owner will sell or part out* Im trying to get ahold of the owner so i can see if they'll part it out. *The friend i mention his dad owns the car* Car is located in Cameron Illinois.

If it's that nice, it would be a shame to part it.

Agree with DynoDave

Looks like an '86 with the 3rd brake light.

Looks like Lexan ttop or very early style ttops. DO NOT ask the Dad for parts off of it. Ask if it's for sale.

Re: Forgotten Red Z28 Camaro

If it's an 86, and it has the original motor, then it's a 305. If it is a 350, then it's been swapped in, like me! lol Also, that car isn't just a Z28, it's an IROC. I can see the door decals in the picture. I'd love to see more pictures of this car. Shame to part it out if it's in good shape. When I found my car it was rough, but it was a good solid car that was sitting for awhile. Take the time and rebuild it and save it. The values of good ones are starting to rise! I hope your friend gets it and make sure you take lots of pictures for us!
