Re: June 2018 COTM **Voting Thread**
Thanks for the nominatioI have owned this car on and off since 1994 I bought it back in 2011 and have been improving it since. I do run the car on the track and put it through it’s paces. This last time I built the car I completely took it down to just the shell and built and detailed it all. I replaced just about everything
I have set the car up for track use but it does remain a street car with all the comforts...I even did a custom vintage air set up in
Of course I have some more I want to do to it but my Next mod is a roll cage which should be in soon
Here is a list of some of the current mods
383 stroker motor all forged with AFR heads and HSR intake it’s built to hold up running at the RPM’s it does
last time I dynoed it put down 414hp 432tq to the wheels...not huge power but it does what I need it to do When I ask it to
March front drive kit
Aluminum radiator w/Canton overflow tank
Custom fuel system w/ aeromotive components
Centerforce billet flywheel
Spec stage2plus clutch
Quick time bellhousing
Libertygear modded tremec TKO trans w/ short throw shifter
Tilton hydraulics
Heidts high horsepower IRS rear suspension w/ aluminum Yukon 3rd member
Heidts K member
Heidts a arms
Heidts SFC’
Quick ratio steering box
PS cooler
Wilwood aero6 front 15”brakes
Wilwood 12.8” rear brakes
Ridetech rear shocks
Custom front struts
TSW wheels wrapped in RE71 tires
Vintage air A/C
Corbeau racing seat
AIM data acq system
OMP shift **** and pedals
Braille trunk mounted lightweight battery

Re: June 2018 COTM **Voting Thread**
Thank you guys so much for the nomination. Bought the car in 2014 after being out of a Thirdgen for 7 r 8 years. It was very mechanically sound but in need of body work and paint at around 90k mi. Car had started out an 89 Formula but PO had added ground effects so I stayed with that theme and replaced the warped pieces, cracked factory wing, and went with crosslace wheels. Also went through and replaced every bit of the suspension as far as replacing springs, shocks, struts, end links, etc.. all the usual worn out things. My father and my sons helped me with the paint and bodywork project which made it a lot more fun. Other mods ive done are 3.73 posi rear, S10 torque converter, shift kit, 3" Flowmaster exhaust system, custom chip, to name a few off the top of my head. I use the car to go to shows, cruise ins, and sometimes to church on nice Sunday evenings. It has been very fun and very reliable and trouble free. The 5.0 TBI engine runs very sound but I have an L98 on the engine stand now I'm going to tear down over the winter to replace the L03. Again thanks so much for the nomination. So many great cars on here

An '87 GTA with a Stealth Rammed small block setup for track use. It's kinda like my car but way better! Not to mention how in love I am with that suspension setup and center exit exhaust right underneath the rear differential. Prossi you have an amazing ride.

Yes those are exhaust hangers andthey aren’t just screwed into the floor pans if that’s what your wondering 😁 there is reinforcing plates welded to the floor pans under the carpet with weld nuts on them so the exhaust can be bolted in and out but most importantly doesn’t fall off😛

I love that color also. When in the sun it will literally blind you! I know, that is the paint code I have. Great job dmccain!
Man this is a tough one, Prossi's ride is over the top but I also have admired how clean and nice you have keep that bird.

prossi, your car is GORGASE ,great job in the mods you made, you would have got my vote for Modified if this was a Stock Vs. Modified voting thread.
PS ,I think we should have a Stock and Modified voting thread for each month.
