Just bought this modified '88, don't care for the graphics.

Just bought this modified '88, don't care for the graphics.
Painted graphics on the both sides of the hood, fenders, doors. Any advice on removing them without paintwork?

Depends, are they on top of the clear or under it? On top you could carefully wet sand it off then buff. Under is a much different story.

You could also put some matte black (or whatever color) stripes down the sides of the cowl, covering the graphics. Might not be your first choice, but it would potentially be easier/cheaper/quicker than a repaint. -Heck, you could even do Plastidip. -Though I despiseplastidip, in this rare case, it may prove useful.
