and making new friends along the way.....Thanks to TGO member lepk5 for working through this deal with me,

Nice!
Sadly, there was one that looked like that along my daily commute. In good shape when it first arrived. But sat outside (driven) for years, then the clear started pealing, then got in an accident, never fixed. People moved, and that was the last I saw of it.

There is squealing tires..... and then there are burnouts.
It ain't a burnout until you have to use tar remover to get the rubber off the quarter panels.

Didn't seem very smokey, but there sure was a lot of rubber to clean off the quarter.

Yep, that's the rubber dust from scrubbing tires on the road. That stuff usually wipes right off.
If you get more aggressive then you'll have droplets of rubber stuck to the body. That stuff can be a little tough to remove.
I'm on my 4th set of rear tires in 4K miles. I hardly ever do burnouts except to restore the tire when needed. But the tires paint the road often and are constantly being scrubbed under throttle. Chews the hell out of them.

After years of captivity in a cold Midwest garage, this Formula 350 has been released into a more natural habitat. May it find other third gens to play with and live many happy years with it's new caretaker.

Tell me more about your addiction, I think I'm afflicted too but yours is sure easier on the eyes If I were a woman I'd have 20+ cats, I'm glad I'm not. Cars are alot less messy but I do like strays

when I think about cleaning off alot of rubber, i scrape it off the ground/quarter and form it into a ball of rubber. that just looks like a dirty towel
