which of these guages look better?
which of these guages look better?
EDIT: I screwed up above, it should read set 1, set 2, set 3, respectively
im getting a tripple A-pillar guage pod. black colored.
now i have to choose which style of guages i like.
what do yall think
Phantom Guages

Black Faced Guages

Ultra Lite Guages

Now my GTA already has red lit guages stock. so the Black Faced Guages (second set) would match good in color, especialy at night, but the other two look really good. what do u guys think.?
here is the picture of the POD they will go in.

Very well lit. Perfect for in the city, plus you get lots of look from people in the car next to you checking them out. Out in the country without any streetlights I sometimes dim the dash lights because they can actually be too brite.

How hard are those to hook up? I already have an oil gauge, but its in the engine compartment. I didn't install it. Someday I'd like to get the pillar pods.
A couple of hours to mount the gauge pod and run the wires. The hardest part on mine was the mechanical line for the nitrous. Add more time if you need to weld or make adapters for your senders (like welding to the oilpan for my oil temp sender).
Hey, Blue...what probs did u have with the nitrous gauge? On mine, I had to heat up the backside of the pod and actually bend it out to the shape of the line itself. If you look from outside the car in, it looks pretty disfigured, but I can live with it for now. I can wait for Autometer to come out with an electrical gauge in their sport comp style.
The hardest part was physically getting the tube down the pillar without kinking it. Too many wires, and not enough space.
I've never actually hooked up the nitrous gauge to pressure, since my current engine doesn't have it, so I don't know if it got damaged but I don't think so. I plan to add it to my 502 just for the **** of it, and needed to fill the pod now. More of an appearance and ooh-ahh item than a functional one. I mean, the 502 won't have traction anyways, why do I really need nitrous? But if the sound of the bb doesn't scare away the ricers, a few puffs of the purge valve should have them ****ing their drawers. The other gauges are fully functional.
Which brand of pod do you have Omar?

I used to have Autometer's single add on pod, which housed my fuel pressure gauge.
I then added a nitrous pressure gauge, so instead of going with Autometer's dual add-on pod, i ordered Lotek's 2 gauge pillar replacement. When comparing the 2, they are exactly the same..obviously i mean the pod part, only.
Basically, the 2 working together is a bad design. It's really no ones fault, be it Autometer or Lotek. But it would help a GREAT deal if Autometer offered the gauges with the nitrous connection clocked at about 10 o'clock, as opposed to directly at the top of the gauge at the rear.

When did you order your triple guage pod?
I ordered mine 3 months ago from JEGS, it's still on backorder.
I am going with the Phantom Series since it has the black bezel.

I really like the Ultra lite but I think the sport-comp will look better with my stock interior.....Anyone have pictures??
I've also read that the sport-comp doesent look good at night....

To clarify, arent the Ultra Lites WHITE around the edge? I didnt think they were polished aluminum, i think that may be the picture.
I checked out the Lunars earlier today from Auto Meters website... theyre sweet. If not Lunars, im going with Ultra Lites as soon as i get a definitive answer on if i want to use electrical or mechanical.
Although ive never seen any of these lit up at night, except an older auto meter tach in my daily driver..... Anyone got night shots?
