This car represents the culmination of the generation -- an ever so desirable Z28 1LE with manual trans. And with only 8,000 miles, this is a collector car to say the least! The car is so clean, so original, and so exceptionally fine! It's no wonder it has been one of the favorites this year.
This car is a special one to me. It's a 92 Z28 1LE. It was special ordered to be a special car by its original owner. This car was ordered by a woman in CA to be her daily driver with the help of her son. The son chose what he considered to be the hottest setup at the time (and I do too!)... Teal, 1LE, stick shift, CD player, black custom cloth, etc. When the car arrived, the mother realized that the car did not have AC and came with crank windows and she realized that this wasn't an every day car. So, she bought a Taurus and parked the car to be used for car shows and occasional fun use. True story. I bought it from the original owner a year ago.
The car has 8k miles on it. It still wears gatorbacks, OEM floor mats, GM muffler, etc etc. I have all of the paperwork on it and it's in fantastic shape.
I have been working out the bugs from sitting like I have my others, and every time I see it, it puts a smile on my face. This car was literally the dream car of myself and my friends growing up.... A teal hardtop performance oriented big wing Z28 was the stuff of dreams and i'm very fortunate to own it.
