Help! Potential Body damage

Ok j have a big problem or so o think it is. I have a 89’ firebird hard top car. There is no rust anywhere and no stress cracks either. No frame cracks or drip rail cracks. The other day I was walking past my car and I noticed the light reflection was different on the top of the sail panel (b pillar) and there was a bulge or different feel in the body line. Idk if this is a body line or a actual problem. Does anyone else have this? If so what can I do to fix it? Does that mean there is frame damage?

Is it on top? This is where a body weld was done at the factory

I am honestly not sure. Where the corner of the window is to the b pillar and about a 1-2 inches down that’s where the “crease” is

Is this your first baby? Just enjoy your car, man.
If someday the roof flies off then put on a smile and be glad you've got a convertible.

There is a factory seam in the place that you are describing. It's where the roof skin meets the top of the rear quarter panel, on the sail panel. It's not body damage, but some cars seams are more visible than others

If you look closely at these pictures of my car, you can see where I smoothed out that seam with a skim coat of body filler

Even the engineer from GM who worked on these cars that I met at Georgetown Tx car show last month looked closely at mine and said some 3rd gens show it more than others.

I call the cars that show more deformation the Monday morning hungover/Friday beer thirty cars and the ones not showing the rest of the work week cars. Lol
