Re: June 2022 COTM "Open Season" **Voting Thread**
It's 91 Camaro RS, convertible. L03 TBI 305, 700R4, 2.73 gears. About 55k miles on the odometer. Nothing fancy, all stock and original, aside from the early 90's vintage Pioneer FM CD changer. I've owned it since 2000, and driven it about a thousand miles. It's mostly just sat in the garage or storage. It's a nice cruiser. It really needs to be cleaned and detailed, it hasn't been washed in about 10 months, but it'll have to do. If I get a chance to clean it up a bit and take some new pics I'll upload them to the thread later.

Hat tip to Drew with a very nice vert. I was surprised and honored to be nominated for this opportunity to represent Pontiac's. I bought my Trans am from the original owner in the mid 1990s when my second Datsun 240Z rusted out. The TA was my daily driver to work for 16 years, and my son drove her in high school. She sat in the yard for about 7 years until I retired, and had a chance to revive her. I pulled the engine and Tranny, and literally replaced every component on the bill or material for this car, brake lines, door locks, windshield, springs, bushings, you name it. I am so thankful for this site, and the sage advice from all the contributors. I pulled a few highlights from my restore that were milestones for me. Thanks again for the consideration! One of my first posts after pulling and rebuilding the engine. I put a mild cam in and modified the Y pipe to allow 3 inch diameter tubing and Cat all the way back. All by myself...trying to prevent damage to a new windshield! This was a good day. Engine in! Now the cosmetics begin. New metal, paint, and interior Finally finished with the engine compartment. Everything is new except the air cleaner housing!
Here is a link to the engine startup I recorded a while ago, but couldn't figure out how to upload. I got a Rumble account, and seems to be working. Hope you enjoy as much as I do. https://rumble.com/v16d2qy-it-still-runs.html
Hangn' around the Race Track after my restore! I took some liberties with OEM, but love the results. I added the lid for the aft compartment.
