November 2022 COTM "Incredible Interiors" **Nomination Thread**

This is a Nomination Thread for cars that will compete for this month's Car of the Month honor. The most popularly nominated cars will be compiled into a Voting Thread within a couple weeks.

You can either nominate somebody else's car, or second a nomination (but not both). Cars must have a second nomination in order to make it to the Voting Thread.

Nomination Guidelines
  • Nominations must be of high quality, finished state, and in working order. No unrealistic, overly processed images. Please accompany the nomination with,
    • a single large, high quality photo
    • name of TGO member (with proper caps and spaces)
    • year, make, and model of car
  • Do not nominate your own car. Your car must be nominated by another TGO member. Cars must have a second nomination in order to continue to the Voting Thread.
  • Likewise, do not ask another family member or friend to join TGO for the purpose of nominating your car. Do not use multiple member accounts to nominate your own car.
  • Do not nominate more than one car.
  • If you are nominated, please DO go out and take an abundance of good quality photos of your car (multiple angles, interior, engine) and make them publicly accessible (for example via a photo album in your public profile, or some sort of hyperlink to your photo album).

*** This month's category ***

INCREDIBLE INTERIORS -- Any very high quality, finished, stock or modified 82-92 Camaro or Firebird with an Incredible Interior ... nominations can be ranging on the more unique side of stock like someone's digital dash Berlinetta to something fabulously custom!

To get the ball rolling for the month, I nominate rudolphschenker and his 1987 IROC-Z... I love interiors that keep the theme of the original but then add those custom touches that make them pop!

this is a hard category for nominations. generally speaking, most thirdgen owner's who upgrade the interior just put nice seats in and maybe a stereo system. there are a few who've swapped in 4th gen interiors which is pretty cool. i haven't seen many thirdgens that completely upgrade the whole interior - like member 427seven did. i'd nominate him, but he already won COTM back in 2019.

yes this category may be a little more restrictive and is why i tried to also inspire anyone who liked more unique even OEM interiors to think about nominations... we do a lot of COTM on exterior, engine bays, etc... figured a focused interior one might bring out some others...

Re: November 2022 COTM "Incredible Interiors" **Nomination Thread**

See, this is where my inability to remember usernames hurts me. Thread, topics, advice I remember. Usernames, not as much.

There was a fellow who joined here who had a black T/A (I think) and was redoing the interior in beautiful tan leathers, wood trim (not always a fan of this but it looked very nice in the luxury interior he was), etc. But I can't recall the thread or username.

Ring any bells with anyone?

Re: November 2022 COTM "Incredible Interiors" **Nomination Thread**

to help spur some addition thoughts on this category, i am going to use my COTM Editor "powers" to nominate a second car for this month

To that end, i nominate Paintchips97 and his great restoration and upgrade to his 91 Firebird Convertible including a full digital dash swap... A lot of dedicated attention to detail and effort on this interior swap and other touches on the door panels, etc
