I am truly disgusted by the TEMU ad banners
I can't take it anymore. The TEMU ads are disgusting filth and it is getting worse the more I use the Google ads option to say it is inappropriate. How does a person get rid of the ad banner at top of page?

It is an add-on that is free to download & install. It blocks ads. Works great on YouTube. I never get ads during videos...

Head to the site adblockplus.org There will be a button on the page to install the extension...boom its running.
There are some times you will want to set an exception for it, Click on the Help link at the top of that page and then on the How To section...will walk you through most everything you need for the tool.
It will hit you up to subscribe or donate at times...that is totally up to you. But have been using it since it came out and never had a problem.

Re: I am truly disgusted by the TEMU ad banners
I'm always wary of any add-ons or extensions to my browser. It's bad enough as it is however, the Temu ads notwithstanding, the ads while doing the YouTube thing are a little irritating. And I don't want to pay for their premium service.
It may be that this ad blocker deal might be worth a try.
Maybe Mr Q will give it a whirl and post some additional feedback. From the sounds of the positive input from a couple members who have replied here, I looks to have some merit.

No. DuckDuckGo is a search engine like Google Search is.

AdBlock Plus and AdGuard is what I am using.
You want the extension, not the program.

When you guys said, Download from a website, my first instinct was, Oh hell no.
But I see some of these things are in the Apple App Store too and I assume those have been vetted for malicious content.

If someone can tell me how to adblock youtube ads via my TV app, I'd be super happy. I watch youtube on my tv more than my pc.

Only way I know of removing adds on smart TV apps or streaming devices, is to upgrade to YouTube Premium subscription. Have not ever run into any AdBlock type functions on smart tv operating systems.

The best option for a TV is to use a Pi Hole. If I had more patience, I would have set on up by now. I have several friends who have one, and it is fantastic using the internet at their houses.
Pi Hole
After setting up one of these, no device on your network will see ads anymore. (YMMV)

No TV. Just PC.
I'm a little hesitant to visit any site called Pi Hole though.
FWIW, my latest go around with ad blocking extensions was being excluded from some sites I rely on. The Weather Network for example said " If you're using an ad blocker then no weather news for you!" They further went on to state that they rely on the ad revenue to keep their business model afloat.
So back to square one and the Temu peep show!

No SkinnyZ. Do use the adblockers. You can set an exception for sites like your Weather Network.

The revenue bit is true. Worth keeping in mind if you frequent some obscure forum for niche motor vehicles or something that they need to keep the lights on somehow.

Re: I am truly disgusted by the TEMU ad banners
So, I had used all means available without additional add-ons, etc. and kept up with reporting the ads and /or blocking via the ad tabs.
I was more frustrated with the lack of response from google than I was with the ads themselves. I kept at it for a few months (perhaps several) always reporting the ad (on various reasons as offered). Even provided my absolute contempt in the comments section for those that monitor this kind of thing.
Then, I noticed, the ads stopped. Those specific ads actually as I'm still inundated with crap. But maybe my perseverance paid off (touch wood).
