You must resize your picture to 64x64 pixels using a program like ACDSee, and then save it as a gif. Then upload it to your profile.

If you've got flash 5 just change one of the output parameters to make an animated gif file. As long as it isn't a huge animation with lots of detail it should be all good.

I just downloaded acdc and tried to save it as a gif from flash.
Oh yeah I'm using flash 5.0 to make this animation. How do you use a animated avatar?

Your problem might be in the size of the file. It can only be a MAX of 20000 bytes or 20kb. I had to shorten mine for that reason. Once you upload the gif file, it will play automatically under your user name.

That I dont get, right click on it and go to the properties. It looks perfect. So unless the server is slow I have no clue what to do from here.

You're just attaching the image, you have to actually put it in your avatar using the options in the User CP section.

EDIT: And BTW, "test posts" are no longer necessary. Once you update it, the board updates the avatar and/or sig on all your old posts.. so just come back to a post you made and check it out.

anglefire and ,geocities will not let you have links from an outside source to show pics

so like if you put a link here toshow a picture from a geocities account it will not work

but homestead.com will let you do that

that how I host my pics
