cars is a 99.80 % guys thing, once in a great while will there be a girl, and if so there usally more manly looking then the guys kinda like girls thats do home decorating or hair design wondering where all the guys are same situation there

Okay guys, there are at least three. And just to clarify, not all girls who like cars are into imports (in my humble opinion a direct contributor to the downfall of western civilization) nor do we all look "manly". My dad loved cars and he instilled that in me, (since he didn't have a little boy, he had to have someone to hold the wrenches). Also, (with some supervisory help from my boyfriend) I am in the process of rebuilding my "baby girl" 1984 Z (289,000 original mile, daily driver for several years). Many new mods, including Dart block, Cola crankshaft, Dana 44 rear, 1le brake upgrade, 82 crossfire hood, currently sitting in it's second coat of primer and more as money allows. When I complete the engine, I will post dyno sheets, no "mouth dyno" from this girl. Plus, 1 of 93, Red, 97 SS Z28's (14,000 miles, original tires, 6-speed). Daily driver, lowered full-size Chevy Truck, better known to my friends as CK1 (Corvette Killer {C4 not C5}). So, we are out here, we just usually stay quiet, because guys either wrongly think we are a little too "butch" or just weird. Oh, by the way, I make a mean homemade lasagna too.

 

I agree with that. Most of them but not all of them. One of my friends is actually vehemently anti-import. She's all about American muscle since the love of her life drove a hopped-up Chevelle. On the other hand, another friend and his girlfriend are hell bent on ricing the crap out of any car they can get their hands on. The gir especially - she HATES American muslce. Sad sad state of affairs .

 

Yeah, and if they get a domestic its a new Mustang convertable, silver or red, and V6 of course

I know what girls there are here read more than they post, and the ones that do post often don't go out of their way to make sure everyone knows they're a girl. Take ViciousZ for example. She's been posting forever before she ever mentioned it (that I saw anyway). Didn't respect her any more or less because of it. Cool person, from her posts, though. Sometimes you gotta do it that way I guess. People just assume a female doesn't know anything, right off the bat; and that's when they get the loafer root canal. I respect that more than the ones that flaunt being a girl just to get attention or whatever; like that post by Tara(something or other) "cute blonde needs help".. She might have pulled off an engine swap, and she might be cute, and I think that's awesome, but the subject line tossed the rest of my admiration right out the window.
