Apparently, we are "punk-*** white-trash bad-boy[s!]"
I am posting this link (1) to see if you guys think that we really present this image, (2) to see this rice peace of junk and (3) he is insulting chevy!

What do you think? The headlight thing is kinda funny, though.
Do we have this image with our car?

Well I gotta say I don't really like that car, but thats just me. I wouldnt say that the driver needs to move out of the trailer park just by looking at it. If anything, I bet the driver is somebody who saw "fast and the furious" too many times and is trying to copy those ricers. I don't think our cars give us the "punk-*** white trash" look at all. I do think that third gen that is up on big mud tires and a lift kit or the one running in the mud is pretty hillbilly though. Anyways, no, our cars are not white trash cars in my opinion but I would rather be driving around in a hillbilly car than a rice burner.

that little bastard has nothing else to do but criticize ****... just forget about him. 3rd Gens do and will always rule. Rice Burners are just pissed off cuz they can't beat a 3rd gen light to light on the street. 5% of the market? well, when you consider how many different cars are on the road.. that's a lot. that means 1 out of ever 20 purchased is a chevy. Imports have the "cool-guy-wannabe" image. like "i wanna be cool look at my "phat" ride that has 170 turbocharged hp!!"
p.s. that tail-light comment was kinda funny.

Gotta admit though that our cars do tend to get that kind of rep, and that is because there are so many trailer trash ******* cars like that one pictured. Definately a late 80s / early 90s paint scheme.

Its what he wrote that I don't like. Thats BS.
That car isn't THAT messed up. I mean really, put the correct taillight on it, take off the stickers, fix the tailpipes, and that car wouldn't be on there. Maybe its fixed by now. Its looks stupid yeah, but it could be fast for all we know.

being a camaro or not that thing is fugly, those graphics are just horrible. the F-bodys expecially the firebirds resemble the era they were from like really no other cars, like the 2nd gens expecially the late 70's birds just scream disco and the 80's have ****** and poison all over it, its just how it is. but some are more tastefully customized them others

I think any1 that still might think that way and thinks that those are the only kind of people that own those cars is a moron, a real idiot. In fact those people are the minority, NOT the majority of Third Gen owners and F-Body owners. There are many of them that have imports, SUV's, and M*****gs also, and ALL cars for that matter, so the same could be said for them. No1 should have to hear that mess.

When are you guys going to realize that people will write things and say things that get under your skin becouse they are uneducated or maybe becouse they drive a ***** and don't like Chevys. Put it behind you and forget it. How do you think people that drive ricers like this site? I saw this editorial in a Florda newspaper about three months ago calling Camaros gas-guzzlers and SUV's the vehicle of choice in the same sentance. This is his opinion and unfortunatly no one could get a hold of him to properly educate him. Forget it and move on....call us trailer trash, stuck in the 80's, whatever. We like our cars becouse they give us a feeling when we drive them, maybe they show your style, you love the raw power, or the looks from girls . There are over 10,000 members here that have at least one Camaro/Firebird and are proud to drive it. Do they have pride in what they drive?

I dont know, i took it all with a grain of salt, after all the stripes on the side were tacky. Not only that but if you look through the whole site the cars they mainly make fun of, and for good reason, are the poser import cars. So I say give the guy a break, its not like he made fun of a really prime third gen. But thats just my opinion. Later.

Speaking as a child/teen of the 80's I can remember when owning an IROC or a T/A meant you were a Guido with gold chains and hairy chests. It was an ugly stereotype but somehow that is what happened. This is what happens when things get popular. Everyone wanted a Camaro or Firebird, but owning one came with a certain image. (Guido/Hermio) I still loved the 3rd gen T/A, and I still went out and bought my new 1985 T/A with the 5.0 H.O and 5 spd. (For all you people that have only driven fuel injected cars, drive a 4 bbl full on and feel when the secondaries open, it is sooo cool.) But anyway, now owning an import is allegedly cool, and with it carries that punk *** ***** image.

Different Decade...differnent stereo-type
I went through all of his pages and I have to admit...there is some funny a$$ stuff on it.
I agree with the post above, I'm a guy that grew up in the 80's (teenager) and to have an IROC or T/A carried a stigma with it... Thirdgens were associated with "hard cases", drug dealers, or guidos (hairy chests, gold chains, and the slicked greased hair!) .. hehehe. I think the sterotype was stupid and had no basis but hey, what do I know
I guess in in weird sense it was something like the *****'s are today... The big difference is that an 85 IROC off the showroom floor could run circles around a 2002 Honda Civic off the show room floor without adding $10,000 in extra parts (NOS, supercharger, turbocharger, etc etc...
I cna say that I never saw this guy ragging on a nice "clean" 3rd gen..or any clean car for that matter!!
