What's the best way to take care of plastic trim?
I'm wondering what is the best way to take care of the plastic trim on my firebird. In particular the best way to keep it from fading over time. I came across this CERAKOTE Ceramic Trim Coat Restoration Kit product that sounds good but isn't for paint. So I'm wondering if you can use it on the back centre where the logo is that says Pontiac where you insert the key to open the trunk. I wouldn't want to accidentally remove that.

I use whatever wax I use on the car on the taillights and center section. Has stayed looking great for years doing this.

I have used Meguiar's mostly over the years. Ultimate Liquid Wax is the most recent. I have always used wax on any vehicle headlights/taillights. I use Meguiar's M27 (Hybrid Ceramic line) on the daily drivers.

The center section between the taillights is clear plastic. Sand and/or polish then wax it however you prefer. The paint and logo are on the backside of the plastic.
Taillights are just plastic too and can be refinished the same way.

I also use a Ceramic coat product. Gyeon Can Coat. I have heard good things about that Cerakote product you listed.
