Two tone Firebirds

Is the lower red, black and gray painted? decal? If they are decals has anyone removed and have any good tips? Thanks!
Maybe that title should read quad tone, ha.

Decal.
heat and peel. 3M products to remove adhesive if needed.
also 3M eraser wheel works.
