Saying hello

Hello everyone, I`m new here.& from the sunny United Kingdom.

My partner inherited an imported Camaro RS 3rd gen ( 1991 ) a few months ago after someone passed away.

The previous owner got it from a scrapyard ( junkyard ) & rebuilt it himself with some help from his friends over 20 years ago, now we have got it. I must admit it is fun to drive with the sound of the engine, i`ve never really driven an american car before or an automatic either, it takes some getting used to in the UK being on the other side of the vehicle to drive, but I seem to be managing. I definitley get alot of people looking, I`ve even seen police officers on duty looking at it while they`re driving too.

I look forward to getting to speaking to some of you on here, maybe finding out more about you, your vehicles & your knowledge of them.

Thank you for the welcome.

If only it did come in liquid form, it would make summers here so much better.

I`ve only managed to get 1 photo of it up so far. I`ll put a few more up in time.

We would like it to look like this again, black paint job with gold decals.
Unless we could find a colour for the decals that would match the original blue colour, we prefer the blue but gold decals just wouldn`t go with it.

Thanks for that, yeah it`s nice to have it too. I can get soo many looks in it or people coming up to me to ask about it. I`m sorry to hear about your Mom, I have just looked up your moms 91 z28, very nice car indeed. I hope you enjoy driving your moms car too. No worries at all. yeah me too, I have seen the marketplace on here so may have to try there, so far nothing seems to be needed yet.

Yeah we like the original blue, its still there in places, It wouldn`t look right with the gold wheels though. We would love to get it resprayed though as we don`t like the matt black finish. I am finding out about the rattle filled driving though so do get what you are saying.
