screw the cragars, everyone and their dog has a set of those. If you want old school look, go TTII's, but everyone has those too
Yeah i know the TTII's are great looking and you're right i definately want to be original, any idea for a rim that would fit my car's looks? I haven't seen any 17 inch cragars, maybe the edelbrock rims? but they seem a little expensive ahh

Ken how do you get all these cool rides and what exact color is that camaro? looks like a black with a touch of green pearl or something and where'd you find a hood like that, wasn't that the same as the baldwin motion camaro?

LOL,
Just to get that straight - I no longer own this car
Anyways, good catch on the color! It is infact a very expensive and unusual paint on that car, but it was very difficult to get through in the pics. That shot of the fender/hood is one of a few pics that I have showing the color.
The name of the paint is "Green Glamour", but I can't think of the name of the brand right now. It is, however, one of the best brands you can buy in Europe. It'll get to me LOL
The color is in three layers before clear coats. First a flat black, second a clear base with a touch of silver metallic and the third layer is a very dark green translucent paint. That gives the effect of a black car most of the time, but very dark green metallic from certain angles and lights.
When I painted mine (1996) it was one of the very first in the country (Norway) with that color. Of course a price of over $200/qt had something to do with it
The hood is a Harwood L88 hood, which is a hood I don't like on most cars, but I think it fits the pointy nose of the 2nd gen Camaros perfectly!
And, I think you are right - those were used on the Baldwin Camaros if Im not mistaken.
Thanks for the kind words! It was a cr@pload of $$$$ and time into that car - but also a LOT of fun!
Here are more pics and stuff about the restoration etc:

When I was in high school, back in the early 70s, it was either Cragar SS or Aluminum Slots.
What ever happened to the good old aluminum slots? I haven't seen them in ages.

I know i would really like some cragars, but sonar is right everyone and their dog, and their dog's grandparents have them. Would the weld pro stars look good on it? I'd mostly like to stay 5 spoke unless you guys point me out to something else thats better.

Man do I miss my '76 TA. There's nothing like a 4000lb, gas hog (12mpg), 400ci. Nothing could hurt that car. One girl rearended me slightly, I barely noticed, her bumper was hanging on the ground. Most reliable car I ever had too. Sat for about 4 yrs. only problem I had until it finally had major problems was a busted power steering line.
