Post your pics of 3rd Gens painted to look like 2nd Gen Bandit cars. Black with Gold GFX and BIG gold Bird or anything like that. Considering doing this to my 87 T/A. Thanks!!
i have seen the bandit theme done to first 3rd and actually a 4th gen they really just dont look right unless its a 2nd gen. they came out with a bandit II i want to say some company did it in 84' it really just didnt look right.

as usual, you are wrong. smokey was the nickname that was given to the cops(s) that were pursuing the bandit. the bandit was burt reynolds, who ran interference for his truck driving partner, the snowman. hence the title of the movie, smokey and the bandit.

I got the hood from motion glass performance for around $425, its called a "twin turbo" hood. Its fiberglass and weighs about 35lbs. I was just looking through a "Hot Rod" magazine one day and saw this small ad in the back of the mag. Anyways the company doesn't have a web site, but they do have a catalog for alot of body parts for third gens like hoods, wings, ground effects, wide body kits, they also cater to rustangs (ooops I meant mustangs) and chevy trucks. I'll see if I can find it.
