Need Sound Advice

Well, I decided to get out today and take the crappy bra off of my car, and see just how bad it looked underneath...the bra came with the car, and the paint underneath hadn't faired too well...since the damage was already done, I left it on just for the winter to prevent any other problems. Well, the good news, if you could call it that, is that the bra (mounted with adhesive velcro is spots.....ugH!) came off with no issues, and the car looks MUCH better weithout it....BUT the clearcoat on the front is flaking off in many spots, giving a white, clouded look. I took 1000 grit sandpaper on an unnoticable spot and worked it a little bit, and the paint came out looking nice, or at least nicer then it had...so here's my question: I hope to have a new paint job by summer, hopefully, but in the meantime, what should I do with the nose..? Sand it with the 1000 and leave it, possibly re-clear it myself...? Take off the clear and get it redone..? Or just wait for the paint..? Any thoughts on this are appreciated. It really doesn't look THAT bad, I guess...

That, my friend, is what I would do. My T/A had a bra on it when I bought it, and it didnt do toooo much damage, but, enough that I am going to have it repainted this summer.

Bras (on cars) are useless... cars dont normally have sagging problems do they?

Try re-clearing first. Scuff the whole nose (hood, fenders, bumper) and shoot the whole thing. I'd just go ahead and clear right over the decals. If it doesn't come out all that great, at least your car is protected until you can get your paintjob done.
