Took the t-tops off & Pics of Neons!

Well, today I just had to go into work to pick up my check and the new paper so since it was so damn nice here I took the tops off, and went to finally stretch the cars legs a little bit.

I was leaving town, and decided to take the lake loop road, I turned onto it, put the pedal down at the top of 1st gear, lit the tires up, and hit 2nd just as I came over a rise to see a cop with a car pulled over! This didnt make me feel so good, so I cruised by the cop (who nodded at me as I went by) and went up a river road near my house. Well, the car definatly pulls harder, and I cant wait to get it to the track! Im thinking new shocks and struts are in order soon (Anyone running the KYB AGX on their car?)

Anyways, as promised, here are a couple pics I took.

Interior Shot

Then, I climbed up an old logging road and parked down at the bottom of the hill to get a couple more pics.

And here are a couple I took at a spot before the road gets really fun.

Ok, now here is where I will probably get some negative comments from people... Neon Pics. I went ahead and installed the kit while I was doing the transmission last weekend, and finally got some pics of the just the Neo-Blue. I have Purple up there, but I havent wired it up yet, I will post pics when the complete Two-Tone is done.

For the negative people, I dont drive around with these on, I only turn them on while parked with friends or whatever. *shrugs*

The pics came out pretty good actually, I think mainly because I waited for the Full Moon, and under the right settings in the camera they really popped out, and yes, it is cold here right now.. heh heh

Since Ive hit my limit for pics, Ill include a link for my current wallpaper (shrunk from 1024x768) I think it looks bad ***!

Neon Wallpaper Pic

So, there we go!

The neons look awesome, as does the car. Yet another pic post with gorgeous pics from you.

Love the neons. How do you take those pics without traffic being a problem? When do you think you'll get the video editing done of the car. Are you going to post it on here? If so, which site will be hosting the video, I need some help for when I get my vid. camera.

Traffic... there isnt any..... The whole time I was up there I saw one truck, and I knew the guy. I live in a town with a population of 250 MAX... so, Traffic isnt a problem.

The Neon was very easy to install if you have minimal experience with wiring you wont have a problem.

And as far as the video, Im hoping to get the final 15-20 minutes of footage done this weekend, and Ill be hosting it on my domain.

Cool, I assume it will be a large file, do you have AIM, any chance of you sending me the file directly when you get a chance. I'm on a T1, so it won't take long. Thanks again for all your help. I'm going home this weekend hopefully Best Buy will have the camera, if not I'll just have to wait and order it online.

Ughhh, the truth hurts. Remember how I mentioned the population of my town? Well, there are always two sides to the coin, one is, Ive never had to lock my car, or been broken into... the other is, I can only connect at a MAX of 28.8, nothing else is available here.

Oh well, Ill just be really patient.

And Yeah Mark, that invite is still up, I dunno what work is gonna be like, but, we will figure it out

First of all, I hate you cause you have the digital dash, and I dont!

Also, about your internet connection: you can get fast internet via satalite. You should really look into it, its not all that expensive. I believe its about equal in speed to DSL. I dunno, but if I could only connect at 28.8, I think I would die!

If Roshambo's town is anything like mine (it is), only the three richest kings of ******ania have satellite dishes, generally mouted to one of their yard cars so they can catch 24 hours a day of "Gone Fishin' ". lol....Great shots as always, dude, glad to see the neons can be pulled off looking that good.

That and the fact my college is in the middle of nowhere, literally the only thing to do is drink up here. Or go to the bowling alley, or the wannabe mall.

What kind of camera are you using? That's really good work. Car looks really sharp too. You must be some sort of photographer. I've seen your pics around before and they are phenomenal.

Can't say that I'm a big fan of the underbody neons. I am, however, a big fan of the scenery in your neck of the woods .

I'm going to in the spring when I bring my car back up to college, lots of high spots to take pics. Lot of traffic too, I'm sure people are going to be wondering what the heck I'm doing. Course the car won't be in the road like Roshambo.

As usual, great photography, and the car/neons look good

I'm a lil' partial to the neons From what you said in the post, are you planning to have two sets running at once? Forgive me if I'm off base on this one, what are your plans? Sounds cool regardless. --Jim--

Exactly, when I bought the car it had a Purple Street Glow gold series on it, but, since the one side one was going dead I have installed the big side one in front right next to the new set, and they will run together.. making a Purple/Blue glow from the front end... should be sweet when I get around to getting down there and splicing the wires.... lol

If its nice tomarrow, Im gonna, then Ill post a pic.
