hey trigger is that block alum. or did u just paint it that way. becuz u could fool alot of people with that.

 

no its just paint. that was the look i was going for. the block is stock

also why do u have the stock manifolds on there? i would think if u have a nice engine like that u would get like sum ceramic coated headers.

That looks great! I had planned on painting my valve covers, and the groves in the fuel rails and plenum. I think now, I may paint a couple other things like you did too

This is sad!! thats all I have to say,but I guess I have to live with it for now..

 

ya I sill have the stock manifolds on and yes i KNOW they are going to kill a lot of my performance. But there only so much money and it all went into parts you can not see in the engine. i have to draw the line somewhere. and they were it. i will be changeing them ASAP.

the manifolds were painted with very high temt paint for headers

that looks awsome, how much did you get it for? u know the HP rating on it yet?

 

i should be in the 350hp range depends on how much the stock headers hert me.

i used the same paint on the covers as the headers and water pump( high temp paint)

what type of paint did you use on the runners and how did it hold up?

the paint i used to paint the engine and acc. was from a store called Canadian tire. its a store only here in Canada. i dont know if they make it or if its made for them by some other company
