Dude those rims are HIDEOUS...... they look like some stock wheels from the 70's......... but then again they dont cause they stick out 30 feet!!!! i think the car would look better on blocks, cause then you could say some **NICE** wheels with the **proper** backspacing were on order........ besides the wheels, NICE CAR!! Id look into some eibach springs or something to give it that low mean look but not ghetto riding the curb dawg look!~

I like the car and the rims, don't like the spacing and the spinners. For sure he needs to do something about that, but he's troubled with tranny problems so naturally that comes first. and then we will worry about the rims. THey have that drag race look to it and about 75% of the cars at the track run similiar wheels. It just looks bad because of the spacing, If he got those tucked under the wheel lips it would look really nice..

86 street, do you still have problems catching traction? what are those 15x10 they look sweet on the back. You should post a pic of the lower behind of your car. I'd like to see how they fill out the wheel-wells.

Hey I went to the thread there was a link to, and it looked like a lot of posts had been deleted. Is that Ghei Boy dude banned? I mean anyone who comes on here with that name can't be too serious.

Personally, I like the wheels, it adds character. But you guys can't give him too much crap about them, you must realize they came with the car when he bought it. It seems about a 50/50 split on who does and dosen't like them, but I didn't count. Also keep in mind, things always look different in person.

BTW - gotta try and grab some credit but I took all the pictures and made the halfass web site yesterday. I've had pics come out in better focus before, but overall i'm satisfied with it. Next time we'll definately have more people, group shots rule! (The grey one's mine!)

I really like how that picture turned out. Too bad we were losing daylight, it could have been even better. Its a good angle for the car IMO.

I like your car and the rims look fine. They fit perfectly with the hood.

BTW, I really like that red firebird on your website. It looks completely bad ***. I can't wait to get a set of torque thrusts on my car.

Did you sat ******?!?! HAHA.....Anyone see Joe Dirt?

I think the whole car, including the rims/backspacing, look great. If someone told me my rims had a '70s look, personally I'd take that as a compliment, as that would mean they had the look of those on the old muscle cars, not some overdone ***** junk. Your car rules if you ask me.

I though you were selling the car. Did you change your mind or was it a different black camaro with a cowl hood.

Well, I'll be there. Don't know if I'll have a Third gen anymore. I am waiting on someone right now thats interested in the car. To bad they are thinking about getting an replacement engine and overdrive tranny to replace the beast I built but oh well, I need money for my babies, the Pontiacs. So I'll show up in the 72 LeMans then.

Don't sweat it man. Theres alot of people out there trying to prove their cool or something. It's not that hard to scroll down the page and skip the thread , hes just lookin for a fight. Some people just are not worth the effort. You don't have to explain to him or anybody else.
