If you guys wondered what happened to me...

Ive been kinda busy lately and havent posted as much. But anyways, I sold the T/A to a guy in Chicago, and Thursday I picked up my new car. A Black 1994 Z28, 6 speed, t-tops, power everything. Im still trying to get used to the 6 speed (and the power) but its good fun.

I ended up washing my car twice yesterday once in the morning, and then after I got back from cruising around. Black sucks! Anyone with black cars have any tips? I put some Mequires wax on it also yesterday and that really helped, but I just know as soon as its front tires start to move it will be filthy again!

Im definatly going to be purchasing some Zaino this summer also.

Anyways, here are a couple pics of it.

With the T/A

Interior Shot

Mmmmm, black

Evil!

So there we go. Im not gonna leave this site as Ive been here for a long time and you guys are always a great source of info, and I figured some of you might have been wondering what happened to me.

I would have to say you get some of the Phatest scenery pictures. So this is the new ride huh. I like it! the t-tops rock. Are you worried out sub frame connectors or did that car allready take car of it.

>oh yeah, which one is faster?

I have a black car, but it seems no tip will keep it from getting dirty. Try the California car duster to dust it after cruising. Today I washed and buffed my IROC, then went cruising. When I came back, I had dust all over my back bumper. It seems that the car pushes it all up in the air, and it ALL lands on the back
Looks nice, gotta love black (even though its a pain in the ***).

Enjoy!

I still think your TA looked better. But I guess the Z is a little quicker. Any plans for mods like you did before?

Alot quicker!

As far as mods, right now it has a K&N CAI, all the free mods, a flowmaster cat back with 40 series muffler on stock tips (Im rippin those off next week) I just ordered a short throw shifter and Hurst **** from SLP, and I think pretty soon headers will go on it. Oh, and it also has a recent tune up (about 2k miles ago with Iridium plugs, new wires/optispark) and a Centerforce clutch.

Eventually I think a Vortech brand hair dryer will fall in place. I was going to take it to the local track tomarrow, but is raining right now.

As far as Subframe connectors I think those will happen in about a month or so along with a STB. Its ALOT stiffer than the T/A and there are seriously no rattles.

Im going to need new tires in about 10,000 miles or so and I think Ill take that opportunity to upgrade to some 17s.

Sad to see the T/A go, but that Camaro is very nice as well. I hope to have a 4th gen Z someday. Looks good.

4th gen maros are so common right now like hondas, every where u look u see one, thirdgens are icons and turn heads more than 4th gens. Im not dissing the maro its a nice lookin car but i would have got another third gen. Just my personal opinion

There are a crap load of thirdgens as well on the road, not saying it's a bad thing, but the majority of them aren't well maintained.

8 outta 10 thirdgens you see here are crap.

I know of 2 guys here with other thirdgens that are really nice.

But maybe I dont look hard enough. But if you do have a nice one, it tends to turn heads.

i honestly like the looks of the 4th gen Firebirds over the camaros, but would much rather have a 3rd gen.

My freinds mom has a 2000 Firehawk convertable. Its a very nice car.

hey nice new ride. yea about havin black paint it is a PITA. today since we have that damn water restriction i havent been able to wash the car in about 5-6months and yet i go out there today with the miguirers quick wax and dusted the car off with the claifornia duster, the car looked great and so i didthe wheels also. but after i was done i had to dust it off again from it just sittin there and collecting dust. cant wait to get my car wet sanded and polished will look 20times better. but yeah black is a hard color to keep clean but looks very nice when it is.

As for those of you asking which is faster, we're talking LT1 vs. LB9. You do the math.

Joe knows what his NW Homies think of his decision ( ), but we know there is another 3rdgen in his near future!

All I have to say is that, that Camaro is in amazing condition for a 94' and seems to be really well maintained? Was it the original owner u purchased it from? I really liked the 4th Gen TA's over the Camaros, but yers looks really sweet! Theres something different about it.. Looks mean also... I was out with my buddy tonite in his 95 TA Convertible.... We raced a 94 Mustang GT and he said he was gunna kill us... He had this thing done up a bit.. I know of a performance exhaust, headers, K&N CAI etc... Nothing to serious.... Anyways, my buddies car is pure stock... We blew the guys doors right off... Like 20 car lengths, no chance for him at all..... Than he catches up when we were stopped at the light and says, u only won because u'rs is standard... Were like, uh no, its automatic! Hes like ya right, i dont believe u, it squeeled into 2nd and 3rd... Than he tells us to pull over at the next tim hortons, so we pull over and he takes off.... *****...
