Check out my new console

I went to the junkyard looking for parts for my chevelle this weekend, couldn't find any so i picked up some camaro parts. I was able to score this console for $25. i got home and decided to put it in my chevelle. It fits my shifter nicely. What do you guys think? Think the camaro parts look good in there?

I had to modify the shifter to fit in the camaro console and yes the ashtray is unusable, but there is no smoking in my cars anyway. Works good for me. I was really surprised that the console fit that good in there myself.

I wonder how it would look painted the same color as the dash. The fit is great. Looks good

wow, jza that is awesome. I had never really thought of painting it the same color as the dash! I might try that out in the future. Good job on the photo-shop. i really, really wish i had that program. I'd love to be able to check out color schemes for my car.

hey u should try and make a custom plate for the shifter and whatnot. so like u can get rid of the piece on the consoule and u wouldnt have the ashtry there. like get a piece of alumin. or aumthing and cut out the design of the consoule and then cut out the hole for the shifter.
