That is a sweet camaro but why must you have adapters? I've got a v8 4x4 s-10 with zr1 rims off a 98 ss and they fit perfectly with no adapters. the reason i was asking was because i want to put them on my 88 iroc-z convertible.

Standard camaro wheels have 5.5 inch back spacing. 93-on camaros have 7 inch backspacing... If you mounted them they would mount 2 inches closer and could causing a rubbing problem in the front. In the rear I dont think it would be a problem because you can fit an 17x11 in there. Like irocdan's above. but it would also be 2 inches further into the wheelwell and look a little funny. S-10s wheel wells might be a little different.

The 2wd S10 have the same backspacing as a third gen but the 4x4 S10s use a different backspacing the bolt pattern rim is closer to the outside of the wheel like in a 4 gen.
What I was wondering, I know a 4 gen rear end will bold in to a third gen but it is wider so will it fit and look rite if you use 4 gen rims?

Here is my car with a 4th gen rear,
First 2 are with my WS6 wheels and the last one is with my Brothers OZ Monte Carlos,

4th gen wheel doesn't even come close to mounting on the front wheels.

Zepher how did you get the front wheels to fit? Just use spacers?

Ya, I used 2-1/4" bolt-on wheel spacers that I bought from www.vettebrakes.com. Cost me $176.50 shipped for the pair.

If you look closely, you can see the spacer,
