Any ideas to make headlights go up 1/2???

Anything in the gearing or something like that? I have seen the import stuff but do not want splice wiring.

Thanks
Andy

b.c it looks pretty sweet, do a search, I can remember this being discussed a few times, no one has really played with it all that much, I'd love to try it though.

I like that look too. Looks really badass when the car flys by. Wish I could help you, but I know nothing about the popup lights on 3rd gens. You will probably have to adapt the import mod to fit your car.

I believe if you put some sort of stop in the path of the light, that'll work. The "motor" stops when it senses an increased load, i.e. when the light hits a stop. I'm looking into this as well in order to replace the stock headlamps with a couple of projector lamps per side.

The previous owner of my car wired up his own switch to control the headlight motors. I don't like the fact that it's somewhat a hack-job, but I do like the fact that it provides adjustability. I can aim the lamps down a bit, it actually helps a lot with visibility too.
