One (Driver side) was broken by a friend ..now today the pass side handle was broken by another guy กกกก
This Thirdgen cars ...you have to pull the hanle and push out the door ...not like most of the new cars you pull the handle and the door opens alone ..well this people pull pull pull the handle ...and what happens ....the handle is yours กกก In your hands
20 Years ..1982-2002 they lived ...now both they re gone .
My 82 need new inner handles now กกกกกกก

I've replaced my left side, took me about 20 minutes. Im not sure if a 82 is the same as a 91, but I didnt even take the door panel off just the plastic housing around the handle and look.

My new problem now is to find two handles for it here in chile กก

 

Went to open my door one time and the handle broke into two pieces, I now have to reach out of my window to open my car door. It's a PITA so I deal, plus its a convertible so its easy.

This is so funny because the same thing happened to me. I bought my car and noticed that the handle was a bit bent, but it worked fine. However one day I just didn't unlock my door and pulled the handle and it came straight off. I don't get it either because its not plastic, but metal. I also have to roll my window down and open it from the outside. Funny thing is that I became so use to it I'd start opening other car doors the same way.

 

sorry to bring up a old post, but this made me lol, i have to do the same thing, one night my alternator died, went to get out, snapped off in my hand, been having to open my door from the outside for some time now, but that inner handle seems to be riveted amiright? can this be drilled and substituted with a nut n bolt?

 

lol my 91 has a broken drivers handle (inner). I tied a string to the door rods and just pull the string to open the door (the door is damaged so i'm done repairing it)

 

This Happened to me on Christmas. real easy to fix though. i bought a reproduction off ebay for 10 bucks and then i just pryed the handle off with a screwdriver ( the rivet comes through real easy) and then i just put a nut and bolt. Not the right way but no one sees it and its easier to fix next time
