What are these ***** for???

These are on my 82 T/A. The one on the left turns on the LED's
and I think the one on the right is an adjustment. When I turn
them it makes a high pitch sound. Im confused. Hope the pic works

Do you have a trailer hitch on your car? It almost looks like an electric brake booster for a trailer. Definatly not stock

I'm not 100% positive but I'm pretty sure that is not stock! And how know what some people do to their cars...... Follow the wires and see where it goes.

it appears to be some kind light control or a volume for a PA or something. i also say follow the wires, see where they go. as for the panel they are in, yup, its stock...the high pitched sound also points to the "PA volume control" thing, there could very well be a tiny hidden speaker (for an old CB or something) at the end of one of those wires you need to follow.

There is a little speaker behind the cover. The wiring sure looks stock. I dont have a hitch and I dont think there ever was. To me it seems like controls for a CB. Its to dark out right now Ill have to follow the wires in the morning.

Well heres a shot of whats behind the cover. I tried to follow the wires but they disapear into the dash. The little blue thing is the speaker. If I cant figure it out I think I'll call the previous owner.

I would have to agree with unforgivin89, it looks like a police radar jammer. In other words it jams a police radar thus preventing an accurate reading. I'll give you $50.00 for it

Well i figured out what it is. Its either a jammer or a radar detector. When I was pulling my engine today I found a little black box underneath the front bumper and the wires led to the *****. I dont know if it works, its probably 15 years old.
