The factory tops in 90-92 are Lexan and are very light.
Check the wrecking yards.
The locking pins are a different diameter, though, so you'll have to swap some of the hardware as well.
Somebody makes a Lexan rear window, I've seen them, but I don't know what the name of the company is.

I don't know.
The 92's are sleeved pin-type, earlier are pins without sleeves and hooks like yours were before that.
My lexan tops are glued together with some type of adhesive.

They will be light like 1/2 the weight of glass. The only problem is that they star up and look like poo. That was the reson I swiched to a set of glass ones.

its true it is very hard to keep the lexan in good shape. Almost impossible. They scratch very easly and mine look as though they have sparkle tint on them they have starred out so much. I am prolly just gonna paint mine due to them makin my car look like crap.
hey, i just got glass ttops to replace my lexans. when i tried fitting them on they rattled up and down a descent amount. my lexans sat very firmly on the car. my car iis a 92, the glass is from i believe an 89 ta. what mods am i going to have to do to get the proper fit? thanks.
