Black and Tan?

I have a 89 Iroc with maroon paint and tan interior, and i would like to know what you think black leather seats would look like in here? At first i did not think that it would look good but then i thought about it and realized that the dash and console are black, and now im not sure if it will look good or not. So Please give me your opinion.
Thanks,
Ryan

Dude.....Black seats would look very good in your car, i have a 92 Bird that had a tan interior in it and i changed the door panels and all the plastic moulding inside the car to black from the tan, you can aquire it at any junkyard and then clean them up real good before reinstalling them back in ...........after your done post some pics......

it could look good....if you get the back seats too...it would look kinda bogus if you had 2 black leather front seats and 2 tan back seats.

I hope to have them by x-mas, and i will have plenty of time to install them during x-mas break. I agree it would look bogus if i only did the front. And i want to do my entire interior black but im a poor college student so it will be a while before that hapens. Im trying to fix it up little by little. But i will probably pull out the carpet and cleen it good while i have the seats out. Thanks for your help.

Also i will have to get black seatbelts, it would look crappy with nice black seats and old nasty tan belts. Guess i need to read the tech article on putting 4th gen belts in a 3rd. Thanks again.

Black, white, and gray being the neutral colors will go with any other color.
IMHO, I would accent your new black interior with maroon or red colors to complement your car’s outer color.

Its already been done, it was like that when i got it. At first i thought it looked gheto, but it grew on me really fast and now i love it. The preveous owner did accent just about everything that he could, he even did the rear view mirror. Here is a pic. And thanks
