I'm gonna be looking for all new seats for my 91 camaro... where would be the best place to look? my backseats and driver seat is in pretty bad condition.

hop on ebay and do a search for camaro seats. since you're going to be changing them, and if you have the cash, i'd recommend bolting on a set of 4th gen seats. its a straight bolt on, but pricey...

I just got a set of black leather seats out of a 96 TA that are about to go in my 89 IROC. I got the whole set for $300 on e-bay. My driver seat was torn so bad that the padding was falling out.

While we're on the subject, I know 4th gen seats are a direct bolt in, but someone told me once that all GM seats are of the same design, and they just made separate seat tracks for each vehicle, is this true? Are all GM seats interchangeable?

I would lean towards yes. I was able to successfully swap my firebird seats into my dads 91 Sunbird.

I know the larger cars such as the bonnevilles and luminas have widers seats. This would be difficult to fit into an fbody. But cavilier, sunfire, sunbird, and all the other mid to compacts I would say would fit interchangably.

I want black seats... over time I want to try and make my interior black.

billsfirebird, those are some nice seats... but knowing my luck I won't find a deal like that.
