rust sucks

is there any better ways to slow rust than grinding, primer and undercoating. my RS is starting the surface rust underneath. i hate rust it killed my bronco and 65 mustang. my pops owns a 80 camaro and the only reason it hasnt killed that is its never driven.

Yes, grinding, coating w/ POR-15, priming, coating.

But once rust starts, it don't stop...

por 15 will do a good job, run a search and find out how it works.

get a grinder, a wire wheel, a welder, some por-15 and a 12 pack of (insert favorite beer here) just don't drink too much or you might miss and grind your window to shreads

yes i already figured the twelve pack to be the key to rust prevention. it helps to lessen the pain when you are grinding and realize you are looking at the interior carpet.

WIRE CUP BRUSH!! One of these, attached to an angle grinder, is THE best tool to use to remove rust. The lil wires get inside the rust spot, pull out all the rust, and leave all of the good metal behind. Then you can just put in filler, sand, and paint.

yes the wire brush is very good at removing rust.

it is also good for removing built up road dust out of the wheel wells.
