fourth gen interior

i am thinking about putting a fourth gen interior in my camaro.
i HAVE already used the search button and read the other articles. i nee to know how the speedo and gauges work. can you use fourth gen guages??????
will the hook up with the 3rd gen cables.???
has anyone done this????
many of these articles explain the basics of installing the dash and door panels but not really much on the electrical side????

Having gutted a 95 Z last week. Here's what I think about it...

The guage cluster has a 32 pin connector on the side. Looks almost identical to the one of the connectors to OUR ECMs. Seems to me that all you have to do is decipher the pin locations and cut and repin the wires on your harness to work. Dont know if the sensors will work between the 3rdgen and 4thgen..havent gotten that far yet. Not till Spring time when my car is back from being painted.

As for the HVAC... It looks like the 4th gen would work as well so long as you take the cable with... As for the vaccum lines I havent had a chance to look at it yet. The duct seems to be easy enough with some kind of tubing from the heater to the vents...

Will definately try to come up with a better explanation of the process later this coming spring if someone hasnt done so by then..

Sorry I couldnt be anymore help...
