B&M Shifter, dont think this has been asked!

Is the B&M Mega shifter, once installed taller that the stock shifter or lower? I looked thru some pictures but cant really tell, not the right angle.

Let me know guys...

i just got a hurst v-matic 2 shifter for my bird. when i found it in the junk yard it was in a maro. my hurst shifter is like 3" taller than my stock shifter.

my hurst v-matic 2 shifter is taller than my stock one actually by like 3" mi not sure about the B&M mega shifter though

Engine: t\a motor 355 lt1 intake, t56,the works, 89 roc 427 sbc tt project
Transmission: to many to list
Axle/Gears: 9bolt 4:10 in the T/A
if so not by much. the handle on the other hand is huge.

Who has a B&M Mega Shifter that can answer the question?
Is it taller or shorter than a stock shifter?

the b &m . here is a pic of a stock maro shifter. keep in mind that the stock firebird shifter is a little shorter.

then here is the pic of a b & m in a ta, but since it has no consle, you have to judge by the steering wheel, and the hvac control.
the mega shifter is taller then the stock ta shifter, but aboutthe same size as the maro.

the B&M is allright bout the same as a auto camaro shifter but the shift boot is ugly go with the hurst dual-gate looks great performs great and is shorter than stock camaro, and the chrome!

It's a tad bit taller, but the throw is very short.. About an inch in either direction to ratchet, and only about 3 inches from park to drive. A lot shorter throw than the stock shifter.
